on block duty, Octave and Cordy can you hold down some firepower? Then we'll see if anyone else comes in and with more?
That sounds fine to me. I'll confirm once Seneca informs me what I still have left in my backpack.

Still need a QB and while I like Manning, I want a solution for a long time not a patch for a couple of years.

They should get RGIII if they know what's good for them. Anyone but Cleveland. Anyone.

They'd have to put a lot of picks on the line for that choice, but in the end I think that would be great! He'd bring everything you want to the team and could be a long term leader there.

I love the Peyton idea, but I still want them to bring someone in (preferably with next years 1st round pick) to groom for the future.

I want BOTH, the now and the then....

The problem is the Ross, Ireland, and company are convinced they have the core to win now. They blame a lot of last year on a bad start and QB. And, Ireland knows he needs 9 or 10 wins or he is out of a job. I dont see them going with a rook under the circumstances.

If they do that, then I'm fine with Peyton. I wouldn't mind them picking up Tannehill to sit behind Manning and learn.

Outside of the QB spot, Ireland has done a fairly bang up job with personnel. Ross wants a big star NOW and that's why I think you might see Peyton in Miami, but I think its bad for Philbin and Sherman because now you will supplant eerything to run Peyton's offense.

I hate to interrupt this fascinating football chatter, but thought I would add that I can shoot. Of course this will leave me open to being blocked or killed myself but we have fought too long and hard to stay alive. The mutts had their turn.

Marino did all he could to carry the team during most of those years. I wouldn't put no Superbowl wins on his shoulders.

Carr, we need all Tributes accounted for.....I'd much rather assign double ups than have the unaccounted Tributes doing as they please. For this to work, we all have to do our part (which, essentially, leaves each of us vulnerable).

I agree. As tempting as it is to shoot one of you instead of the Mutts, you'll know I didn't shoot at my intended target.

I need those same reassurances and accountabilities for each of you.

It's about the best that it can be.

The results should be the same for all the Mutts. If there's an anomoly, then we'll know who to look at tomorrow.

Hmmm. In assigning vigs and blocks, do we want to consider what Cordelia and Neptune will be left with tomorrow? This new development has allowed them to slide that much closer to victory.

Has it? If they stick to the plan and we get rid of the Mutts there are (assumedly/hopefully) no fewer tributes left than we knew about coming into today. Hence they'd be no closer.

I disagree. My backpack remained the same, yet 3 new opponents were introduced into the arena. Not sure how that is "closer to victory".

Correct. We'll be at the same place, yet with less at our disposal.

I would have voted against the introduction of the Mutts, if asked.

I think Arbor would rather both Cordelia and Neptune have to shoot today so they hopefully don't have any weapons left tomorrow.

Neptune claimed to have used a guard on himself yesterday. I don't recall what Cordelia said she did.

No, I have no firepower. In addition, I prefer animals to people. I have a block if you need me on someone.

We are making a lot of assumptions. We are told they are an independent team. Will blocking all of them block their lynch (if they have one)? Do they each have backpacks so that they are forced to choose between guarding themselves or blocking our blocks/vigs or killing us? If one of our tributes doesn't play along, surely one of their kills will go through, lessoning our numbers.

Really anything can happen.

The blocks I figured would at least hold up any protective powers they have, making them more vulnerable to our shots. If they have a team lynch (like the alliances had and a traditional mafia team would have) I assume the blocks don't stop that.

Not necessarily. I just want us to think it through. If they shoot today, then its likely they are left with blocks and can stop attacks the next day.

Also if they shoot and succeed, will they inherit the mutts backpack? Maybe its better to have them on block duty. I don't know.

Good point. Depending on how many tridents Neptune has he'll probably be left with one either way.

What do you say, Neptune?

Should you and Cordelia block or shoot?
